What Will You Be Doing?
Perform inspection functions according to Frontier's Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) and FAA Regulations to ensure flight safety and airworthiness of Frontier aircraft.
Essential Functions
- Always follow approved published procedures unless proper deviation approval is authorized.
- Perform required inspection items (RII) in accordance with CAMP and FAA Regulations.
- Perform C‑Check, line maintenance/RON, and receiving inspections.
- Perform light and/or intricate cleaning as required or directed by supervisor.
- Monitor maintenance, workmanship and materials to verify compliance with approved procedures.
- Perform on‑site quality control monitoring of work performed on company aircraft.
- Audit completed aircraft records (e.g., logbook pages, work cards, engineering documents).
- Monitor the proper completion of aircraft records during C‑Check, RON and line maintenance.
- Actively participate in improving CAMP by identifying concerns and providing documented suggestions.
- Assist received inspections, conduct periodic inspections and audits of vendors, line stations, and contract overhaul agencies.
- Perform OJT in various functions such as NDT, RII, borescope, and receiving inspection as required.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all assigned work documents and records.
- Maintain currency on all revisions to company manuals.
- Research all pertinent information and material for work scheduled on aircraft.
- Make FMIS entries as required.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas at all times.
- Ensure a “clean as you go” job ethic is adhered to.
- Ensure that all maintenance areas meet good housekeeping standards.
- Ensure that all tools are removed from aircraft, engines, appliances and components.
- Always maintain positive tool control accountability.
- Immediately report lost and/or found tools to management.
- Assist in daily cleanup of inspection work areas after each shift.
- Follow guidelines provided in Frontier's Employee Handbook, except where governed by collective bargaining agreement.
- Maintain familiarization with training requirements defined in GMM 100: Maintenance Training Program and ensure training is current.
- Receive tools returned from calibration vendors.
- Ensure calibrated tooling data is entered in FMIS.
- Assist in evaluation of new tooling.
- Ensure lost and/or found tools are addressed in accordance with current policies.
- Evaluate aircraft equipment, tooling, and support equipment for new training topics per GMM 100.01.
- Perform other duties as required or directed by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Current Airframe & Powerplant certificate; must have held an A&P certificate for at least 5 years.
- Previous and verifiable experience (OJT/training records/certificates).
- Inspection experience including RII authorization, designated inspection authorization, NDT inspections (ET, PT, UT) and borescope experience.
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience performing maintenance checks, engine changes, gear changes, structural repairs, flight‑control rigging on large aircraft operated under Part 121 or 135.
- Must be fleet qualified on Frontier’s aircraft.
NOTE: The Director, Quality Assurance/Chief Inspector may waive any one or more of these requirements if experience level is comparable and deemed acceptable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to acquire, hold, maintain, and execute RII authorization.
- Must have a current U.S. passport or be able to obtain one within 3 months and be willing to travel for quality oversight.
- Vision must meet a minimum requirement of 20/25 (corrected or uncorrected).
- Ability to acquire, hold, maintain, and execute borescope inspections.
- Ability to acquire, hold, maintain, and execute Level I NDT certification in ET, PT, UT.
- Ability to acquire, hold, maintain, and execute Level II NDT certification after holding Level I for 3 years.
- Ability to acquire, hold, maintain, and execute Level III NDT certification after holding Level II for 5 years.
- Ability to complete (and pass) differences training.
- Ability to acquire, hold, maintain and execute a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
- Must demonstrate behavior that portrays the company core values of safety, respect, trust, collaboration, value, and passion while communicating with personnel and acting on behalf of the company.
Equipment Operated
- Measuring, NDT and borescope equipment and other equipment provided by the company.
- Common office equipment.
Work Environment
- Maintenance hangar and line environments.
- Must be able to work any shift (days, swings, graveyards).
Physical Effort
Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.

Base Rate and Pay
Base rate: $29.39 per hour, increases to $29.90 per hour after 90 days.

- $0.75 for 3 years Airbus experience and Gen Fam certified or after training
