Job summary

ProAmpac's Rosemount facility is hiring a Bag Inspector for the 2nd shift (3pm - 1am) on-site. You will inspect bags for seal integrity, proper folds, and gussets, while supporting production by stacking, counting pallets, and coordinating with the Bottomer Operator.

Must have basic math, reading, and writing skills and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. High School Diploma or GED required; exposure to glue gun use and color perception is needed.

Responsibilities

Our Rosemount, MN facility is in need of a Bag Inspectorto join our team! We are looking to fill our 2nd Shift (3pm - 1am) Monday - Friday. Pulls hands of bags onto inspection table, and inspects by flipping through bags, looking at sealed ends for open ends, doubles, triples, crocked folds, turn backs, turn under, loosely sealed folds, improper sized gussets, and lack of anti-skid or lacquer.

Sets aside a hand of bags at the beginning of an order, or when needed, to replace those periodically checked and torn down.

Discards any poor quality bags.

Reclaims bags by using glue gun.

Notifies the Bottomer Operator if there is a continual problem.

Counts and records number of bags stacked on each pallet for shift, and turns into records number of bags stacked on each pallet for shift, and turns into Bottomer Operator.

Assists other inspectors by sweeping and inspecting, when all work in area is complete.

Any additional tasks assigned by management to ensure continuity of production.

Requirements:
