Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Production Worker to support production, inspection, and packaging with a strong emphasis on safety and attendance. The role involves operating equipment, packing products, and maintaining quality and paperwork across a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $18.00/hr with a $2.00/hr night shift differential for a 12-hour night shift (6:30 PM–7:00 AM). Full-time hours and advancement opportunities are available within a leading global packaging company.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to calculate parts requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 12 consecutive hours.
  • Ability to read, write and record data in quality and production records.
  • Able to grasp, grip and manipulate boxes and products for inspection and packaging.
  • Ability to operate around heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Lifting up to 35 lbs.

Job Description

We are looking for an excellent Production Worker to help ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency by supporting production, inspection of product and packaging needs throughout the facility. This production worker will take pride in their safety mindset, attention to quality and perfect attendance. This is a high paying job with built-in OT, at a leading global US based company that is dedicated to a creating a safe work environment with opportunities for growth and development. Inspect and package plastic products of good quality. Operate equipment efficiently and safely. Safely utilize basic tools before placing boxes on a pallet. Properly complete all required paperwork. Read through process manuals and record measurements Ensure accuracy and monitor quality of production runs. Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency. Maintain plant cleanliness through daily work-area cleaning and proper scrap placement. Perform additional job duties as required by leadership efficiently and safely. Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures. Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
