  • Make safety #1 priority
  • Read packing instructions for assigned station
  • Inspect plastic containers/parts for defects
  • Complete daily inspection paperwork
  • Pack quality parts into correct packaging
  • Label and stack boxes, bags or bulk units
  • Maintain an organized packing environment
  • Flexible to assist line workers when time allows
  • Follow plant safety rules and report violations
  • Promote GMP policy and product safety
  • Communicate constructively with team to achieve department goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Position: Inspector/Packer

The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $19.50/hr.

Summary

The mission of the Packer is to quickly and efficiently pack quality bottles that come off of our Extrusion Blow Molding and Stretch Blow Molding lines while making safety a priority.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to read and take direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift 35 pounds on a regular basis.
Job Responsibilities
  • Make safety #1 priority
  • Understanding of Job Safety Analysis' related to daily tasks.
  • Able to read packing instructions for assigned station.
  • Inspect plastic containers/parts for defects
  • Complete daily inspection paperwork
  • Make supplies for machine and keep up with demand throughout the shift
  • Pack quality parts into correct packaging
  • Label and stack boxes, bags or bulk units
  • Maintain an organized and clean packing environment.
  • Flexible to help out line workers and others when time permits.
  • Promotes safety by following all plant safety rules and reports violations and unsafe practices to shift or department leader(s).
  • Promotes GMP policy and product safety
  • Communicate and cooperate with other employees in a positive and constructive manner to achieve the goals of the department
  • Other duties as assigned.
