Job summary

Amcor LLC in Tacoma, WA is hiring an Inspector/Packer to support the production team. The role requires reading and following directions in a fast-paced environment and the physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

You will inspect containers, read packing instructions, and complete daily paperwork while maintaining a clean, safe packing area. The position emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and teamwork, with opportunities to assist other line workers and contribute to the overall efficiency of

Responsibilities

  • Make safety #1 priority.
  • Understand Job Safety Analysis related to daily tasks.
  • Read packing instructions for assigned station.
  • Inspect plastic containers/parts for defects.
  • Complete daily inspection paperwork.
  • Prepare supplies for the machine and keep up with demand.
  • Pack quality parts into correct packaging.
  • Label and stack boxes, bags or bulk units.
  • Maintain an organized and clean packing environment.
  • Be flexible to help line workers when time permits.
  • Promote safety by following plant safety rules and reporting violations.
  • Promote GMP policy and product safety.
  • Communicate and cooperate with other employees to achieve department goals.

Position: Inspector/Packer

Reports To: Production Supervisor

The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $19.50/hr.

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to read and take direction in a fast-paced environment.

Able to lift 35 pounds on a regular basis.

Job Responsibilities
