This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

In this role you will be responsible for programing, setup, operating, and assisting multiple technologies such as Taylor Hobson; Blue light; CMM; laser tracker; Romer arm; manual layout mechanical inspection using Blueprints to inspect machined and received components. Perform first article, in-process, final, and receiving inspections. Provide feedback to machinists and engineers with dimensional data. Document, track and complete discrepancy reports. In addition, there will be times that you will need to provide inspection time estimates. Maintain and track inspection equipment calibrations. Support process improvement initiatives. Maintain configuration control on files and job records and safely work within an industrial environment.
