Job summary

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Level II Inspector to join our Caleb Brett team in Gretna, LA. This role performs inspection duties on product and chemical cargoes and requires travel.

The position supports shore tank inventories, keeps detailed logs, and meets minimum qualifications such as a High School Diploma, 1 year petroleum inspection experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year petroleum inspection experience.
• Ability to travel as required (15% or more).
• Valid driver’s license with reliable driving record.
• Ability to climb shore tanks up to 70 ft tall and carry ~50 lbs.
• Ability to acquire and maintain IFIA Certification and TWIC Card.

Responsibilities

What are we looking for?

The Level II Inspector is responsible for Performing Inspection duties on product and chemical cargoes. This position will travel at least 15% of the time.

Shift/Schedule: 4 and 4 Schedule, subject to change based on client demands

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Ability to travel
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required
• Ability to climb shore tanks up to 70ft tall and able to carry approximately 50 pounds, at a time.
• Ability to acquire and maintain an IFIA Certification, if not already certified
• Ability to acquire and maintain a TWIC Card
