Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Inspector to verify information and inspect customer vehicles upon receipt, noting damage and necessary repairs, and to complete all required documentation.

You will perform day-end procedures, write electronic condition reports, and participate in safety initiatives while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of inspection techniques and software tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ICP Level I written/field exam is required.
• Understanding of Baseline Inspections (Electronic Condition Report) & vehicle grading.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Strong technical aptitude is required.
• Body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge.
• Familiarity with unibody and full-frame vehicles.
• Good organizational skills needed.

• Keep updated on improvements and changes in body, mechanical, frame labor, inspection techniques.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7a-3:30p
