Job summary

Printpack Inc. seeks an Inspector I to visually inspect products, ensure they meet customer specs, and perform proper packaging per procedures. This role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and GMP requirements in a manufacturing setting.

The position includes a 3PM-11PM shift with a $2.50/hr premium for the 7pm-7am window; wage ranges from $15.50 to $23.24 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough visual inspections of products according to customer specifications
• Identify defects based on established quality standards
• Monitor product consistency and conformity to requirements
• Escalate defects to Quality Lead as appropriate
• Pack products according to procedures
• Apply labels and packaging materials
• Ensure proper product orientation and arrangement
• Participate in safety improvement programs/projects including BBSOs and 5S events
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area responsibilities including work area cleaning

Job description

The Inspector I position plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction through thorough visual inspection of products. This position is responsible for examining, evaluating, and ensuring products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. The Inspector I also conducts proper packaging operations, while adhering to safety protocols and workplace organization standards. The role serves as the primary quality checkpoint in the production process, requiring keen attention to detail, strong visual acuity, and consistent application of quality standards. This position requires an individual who demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality while maintaining productivity standards in a manufacturing environment.

Hours: 3PM-11PM

An additional $2.50/hr. premium added to salary for hours worked between 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.

Wage: $15.50 - $23.24 per hour depending on experience

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
