Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC in Melrose Park, IL seeks a Production Inspector to visually inspect filled products and support cGMP in the filling and off-line inspection areas.

Responsibilities include equipment setup/operation, documentation, start-up procedures, and ensuring quality checks meet SOPs in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Basic math skills for required calculations.
• Visual ability to detect defective vials and maintain inspection qualification.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

• Calculates percent defective on inspection results and reconciles components on batch record.
• Loads and unloads vials from turntables; stacks, wraps and moves pallets of product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Hourly Rate: $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsible for visually inspecting filled product off the filling line following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP). The production inspector will work in the Capping Department and on the off-line inspection area and therefore must be knowledgeable of procedures and equipment in each area.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• One (1) to three (3) years pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Basic math skills to perform required calculations (multiplication/division).
• Visual ability to detect defective vials.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must maintain acceptable visual acuity.
• Must be able to maintain visual inspection qualification requirements.
