Job summary

Nordson EFD, a leader in fluid dispensing systems, seeks a Quality Assurance Inspector I to perform inspections on products for Tip Assembly or Injection Molding. The role includes measuring with calipers, gages, and testers, documenting findings, and ensuring conformance to workmanship standards.

The incumbent will work in a lab/manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include disposition of products, rework as needed, and collaboration with team members to maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform all variable and attribute inspections on product based on sampling plan and document findings.
• Interpret basic EFD blueprint dimensions/notes specific to the parts being inspected.
• Package, weigh and label product and record amounts accepted and rejected.
• Perform measurements properly using luer gages, go/no go pins, digital calipers, optical comparators, tensile tester and other equipment.
• Conduct functional testing and dispose of product as approved or rejected.
