Job summary

Halo Technical Solutions Global is seeking an Inspector - 1 to support large-scale industrial construction projects with a strong electrical scope. You will ensure inspection quality, code compliance, and execution standards on data centers and manufacturing facilities.

Within a fast-paced environment, you will perform electrical inspections, document conditions, and escalate issues while collaborating with project teams and contractors to maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electrical inspection experience.
• Experience with electrical installations and field execution.
• Hands-on knowledge of conduit, cable tray, terminations, panels, switchgear.
• OSHA 10 certification prior to site arrival.
• Journeyman Electrician license is required.
• NFPA 70E certification required (may be completed on site).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and codes.
• Strong attention to detail in high-risk electrical environments.
• Know NEC and applicable electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical inspections per approved ITPs and checklists.
• Verify installations comply with specifications and codes.
• Document field conditions with photos and inspection reports.
• Identify and report deficiencies to supervision.
• Witness contractor testing and record results.
• Complete daily inspection reports and QC documentation.
• Upload records into project systems (ACC, CxAlloy, etc.).
• Maintain organized QC files for assigned areas.
• Track punch lists and confirm corrective actions.
• Communicate findings to contractors and project team.
• Attend coordination meetings and document actions.
• Escalate safety, quality or technical issues to leadership.
• Follow all safety requirements and stop work for unsafe conditions.

Position Overview

The Inspector - 1 role is a key position within Halo Technical SolutionsGlobal’squality and commissioning team, supporting large-scale industrial construction projects with a strong electrical scope. This role ensures installation quality, code compliance, and execution standards are met in fast-paced, high-demand environments such as data centers, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical inspectionsin accordance withapproved ITPs and inspection checklists
• Verify installationscomply withdrawings, specifications, and applicable codes
• Document field conditions through photos, checklists, and inspection reports
• Identifyand report deficiencies and non-conformances tosupervision
• Witness contractor testing activities andrecordresults as directed
• Complete daily inspection reports and QC documentation accurately and on time
• Upload inspection records into project systems (ACC,CxAlloy, etc.)
• Maintain organized QC files for assigned work areas
• Track punch list items and confirm corrective actions are completed
• Communicate inspection findings to contractors and project team members
• Attend coordination meetings and document action items
• Escalate technical, safety, or quality issues toLead Inspector or QC management
• Follow all safety requirements and stop work for unsafe conditions

Required Qualifications

• **1–3 years** of electrical inspection experience
• Strong background in electrical construction within industrial or large-scale commercial environments (data centers, manufacturing plants, heavy industrial projects)
• Hands-on experience with electrical installations, systems, and field execution (conduit, cable tray, terminations, panels, switchgear, etc.)
• **OSHA 10** prior to site arrival
• Journeyman Electrician License
• NFPA 70E certificationrequired(may be completed upon site arrivalor within first month of employment)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
• Working knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes and standards
• Strong attention to detail with a field-focused mindset in high-risk electrical environments
• Ability to accurately document findings in a clear and professional manner
• Reliable, accountable, and capable of working under supervision in the field
• Commitment to safety, quality, and complianceat all times

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on datacenter, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects
• Familiarity with QA/QC platforms (ACC,CxAlloy, or similar)
• Exposure to field inspection workflows and punch list tracking
• Understanding of multi-trade coordination in active construction environments
