Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Inspectors for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• Must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time (up to 10Hrs)
• Must be able to sit at work station for long periods of time
• Must have prior experience visually inspecting solder connections, for both SMT and Thru hole applications in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
• Must be able to identify non-conformances per applicable documentation, specifications.
• Minimum 2 year of experience performing visual solder Inspection on CCA's .
• Minimum 1 year experience inspecting conformal coating on CCA's
• Must have good attention to detail, be Quality and process oriented with a zero defect mindset, proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, navigating and understanding IPC standards, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Personal Computers.
• Interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of operations when addressing quality defects.
• Candidates must take and pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide.
• Candidates must be able to read/write English.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

CCA inspector 1st Shift - Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. Role will incorporate use of drawings and written inspection instructions. Use of various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc) to 100% visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Accredited Bachelor's Degree.

WORK HOURS

• Full-Time- Monday- Thursday 05:00am-03:30pm
