Job summary

NOV in Houston is seeking an Inspector to support production by following customer specs, industry practices, and company procedures to maintain quality standards. You will set up, calibrate equipment, perform quality checks, and maintain inspection records to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points for process and product quality.
• Set up and calibrate equipment according to work order.
• Communicate and coordinate information to Supervisor/Manager for safe operations.
• Perform quality checks throughout production runs.
• Inform Supervisor/Manager of interruptions or irregularities in the production line.
• Follow all HSE, QMS policies and report violations to appropriate personnel.
• Accurately create and maintain inspection and production reports as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Responsibilities

• Follow customer specifications, industry recommended practices, and company procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform all assignments, duties and tasks in a safe manner while following standard operating procedures.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.
• Set up and calibrate equipment according to work order.
• Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information to appropriate Supervisor/ Manager to ensure effective and safe operations.
• Performing quality checks throughout production runs.
• Inform the Supervisor/Manager or designee of any interruptions or irregularities in the production line.
• Follow all Company HSE, QMS policies and procedures and report to the appropriate personnel of any violations of these policies or procedures.
• Accurately create and maintain inspection and production reports as required.
• Perform other various job duties that may be required by the Supervisor/ Manager or their designee.
