Camcraft is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Hanover Park, IL. This on-site role supports the inspection of precision machined components, ensuring adherence to established quality plans and blueprints and using CMM equipment and micrometers for verification.

You'll work first shift from 5:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., collaborating with production to resolve nonconformances, maintain accurate records, and uphold safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement

Formación

• Inspect parts per established quality plans and specifications.
• Must know how to use measuring equipment (micrometers, hand gauges, etc.).
• CMM experience, specifically with Zeiss equipment, is required.
• On-site, day-shift QA Inspector responsibilities and collaboration with production teams.

Job Details: Job Location: Hanover Park IL - Hanover Park, IL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector. Hours: 5:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. (1st shift). Location: Hanover Park (onsite).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect parts per established quality plans and specifications.


• Utilize measurement equipment to ensure that precision machined components meet specifications on Camcraft blueprint documents.


• Assigns priority to inspection process.


• Inspects parts to meet shipping and receiving schedules.


• Work in conjunction with other Quality Team members and production departments to resolve quality problem.


• Communicate to appropriate Camcraft staff when non conformances are discovered.


• Enter nonconformant findings into computer data base.


• Follows established safety practices and requirements pertaining to the type of work involved.


• Other duties as assigned.


• Must know how to use measuring equipment (micrometers, hand gauges, etc.).


• CMM Experience


• Must have CMM experience using Zeiss equipment.
