Job summary

ARCXIS, headquartered in Houston, TX, seeks an entry-level Inspector to travel locally and perform energy testing on new homes. No experience is required, and you will receive extensive training with certification support.

You will inspect sites, communicate findings to builders, and document results while benefiting from employer-paid health insurance and a comprehensive benefits package. Remote opportunities are not specified.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to prove proof of previous employment past 7 years through background check.
  • Construction and relatable experience a plus.
  • Reliable transportation is required to accommodate testing equipment and a ladder.
  • Role may involve driving over 80-120 miles per day. Candidates must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and state-minimum auto insurance.
  • To support travel needs, the company provides an auto allowance and a fuel card.

Requirements

  • Work closely with builders, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate findings and provide recommendations for improving energy efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all testing and inspection activities.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to energy efficiency and sustainability.
