Responsibilities

• Inspect molded and spliced rubber parts and sort defects.
• Color code, gauge, and label/reject parts with necessary paperwork.
• Place rejected parts/materials in assigned container with necessary paperwork and labels.
• Complete all duties for the department as instructed by the supervisor.
• Demonstrate a team player attitude and perform with minimal supervision.

Hours:7am to 3pm & 3pm to 11pm

POSITION SUMMARY

The Inspector will inspect molded and spliced rubber parts, sort parts to eliminate defects, color code, gauge, and place rejected parts/materials in assigned container with necessary paperwork and labels. In addition, the Inspector will complete all necessary work for the department as instructed by the supervisor. It is expected that the person fulfilling the duties of this role will perform tasks, projects, and any other related responsibilities with minimal supervision. In the absence of supervisor and the lead person, the most senior Inspector may be required to assign work. It is expected that the Inspector will demonstrate a team player’s attitude towards their job at all times.
