Job summary

Lezzer Lumber in Pennsylvania is seeking a sales-driven professional to manage contractor, DIY, and commercial accounts. You will build partnerships, provide bids and material estimates, and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include driving sales, improving margins, and supporting walk-in customers while performing cashier duties and invoicing. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of customers.

• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Moderate degree of analytical skill, reasoning ability, critical thinking.
• Working knowledge of materials and associated estimating techniques.

Responsibilities

• Sells and services established contractor, DIY, and/or commercial accounts.
• Seeks to create a "business partnership" relationship with accounts.
• Provides customers with bids or quotes and material estimates for various materials packages.
• Maintains limited pricing flexibility within the guidelines established by the Location Manager.
• Improves sales volume and gross margins.
• Sources and orders special order products for personal accounts.
• Assists walk-in customers.
• Prepares sales invoices.
• Performs duties of cashier for customers.
• Coordinates the timely delivery of materials for orders placed by accounts.
• Informs Location or Assistant Manager of material and service needs of customers as well as various competitive price levels in the marketplace.
