Job summary

DiversiTech Corporation seeks an Inside Sales Supervisor to lead the inside sales strategy and directly manage Inside Sales Specialists and Account Managers. This working leadership role balances coaching, performance management, and hands-on ownership of assigned accounts and revenue opportunities.

You will drive growth, improve customer retention, coordinate national account initiatives, and ensure disciplined CRM and sales process execution across regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5 – 7 years of progressive experience in sales, inside sales, account management, customer operations, or sales support roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability to lead teams while personally managing customer accounts and revenue-generating activities.
  • Experience building sales strategies, managing pipelines, and driving follow-through on opportunities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, coaching, and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems and disciplined opportunity management practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated accountability, sound judgment, integrity, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Leads, coaches, develops, and manages the performance of Inside Sales Specialists and Account Managers.
  • Establishes department priorities, performance expectations, and sales execution standards.
  • Develops and executes inside sales strategies that support revenue growth, customer retention, and opportunity conversion.
  • Builds and manages sales pipelines, monitors account activity, and drives follow-through on opportunities.
  • Identifies cross-sell, upsell, retention, reactivation, and market expansion opportunities through customer and sales data analysis.
  • Coordinates sales promotions, customer campaigns, and National Account initiatives across regions.
  • Maintains ownership of assigned customer accounts, including account planning, customer engagement, quotation follow-up, and revenue growth activities.
  • Supports Win Backlog Realization (WBR) initiatives by coordinating activities, removing barriers, and driving revenue realization.
  • Ensures accurate and timely maintenance of customer, opportunity, activity, and account data within CRM systems.
  • Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Operations, Pricing, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to execute commercial strategies.
  • Presents reports, dashboards, analyses, and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Promotes compliance with established sales processes, reporting standards, and account management practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Supervisor is to build and execute DiversiTech's inside sales strategy while directly managing Inside Sales Specialists and Account Managers. Inter-Relationships

Maintains regular interaction with the Director of Customer Operations, Sales Operations leadership, Inside Sales Specialists, Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers, National Account Managers, Product Line Managers, Marketing, Customer Operations, Pricing, Finance, IT, and other commercial leaders. The role also works directly with customers and may coordinate activities with external sales representatives, vendors, and service providers as business needs require.
