Job summary

FCX Performance, an Applied Industrial Technologies Company, is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to build and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team. You will discuss process flow control needs, provide technical information, and process orders while delivering exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have experience in inside sales or customer service in the industrial market, with knowledge of sizing and selecting process flow control instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Inside Sales/Customer Service role within the industrial marketplace.
• Sizing and selection of Process Flow Control and instrumentation knowledge is helpful.
• Strong problem solving and reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell company products and services to customers via inbound and outbound calls, processing orders and inquiries.
• Provide technical and application information to customers.
• Process and expedite orders, returns, and supplier communications.
• Source quotes from vendors and support the outside sales team.

What you’ll do:

In our fast-paced team environment, you will partner with our customers and sales team to solve customer needs, and build ongoing business relationships.

By means of inbound and outbound calls: successfully sell company products and services to customers by processing orders, price and delivery inquiries.

Provide technical and application information.

Process and expedite orders, customer returns and returns to vendors.

Sourcing and getting quotes from vendors, effectively handle correspondences from customers and fielding calls from customers as well as assisting the outside sales team.

Position Requirements:

Experience in an Inside Sales/Customer Service role within the industrial marketplace and or mechanically inclined preferred.

Previous experience with sizing and selection of Process Flow Control and control instrumentation is helpful.

Problem solving and reasoning skills.

Computer proficiency-Epicor P21 a plus!

Preferred Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
