Job summary

Aurorium is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to manage and grow the North America territory. You will build relationships with small-to-mid accounts, coordinate orders and forecasts, and drive lead generation across Aurorium’s business units.

The role emphasizes value-based selling and active collaboration with marketing and logistics teams. Applicants should have 3–5 years in sales within the chemicals sector, strong CRM usage experience, and a proven ability to meet or exceed targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or relevant experience.
  • Chemistry degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years in a sales role at a specialty chemicals company preferred.
  • Experience using a CRM to drive growth, communication, and customer experience.
  • Experience developing sales plans and executing to achieve growth goals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on monthly and quarterly targets of volume, revenue, and profitability.
  • Manage a territory of Inside Sales accounts with regular, documented contact.
  • Coordinate orders, obtain forecasts, optimize pricing, and address customer concerns (technical, logistics, quality, regulatory).
  • Qualify and route web inquiries within 24 hours; support lead generation at trade shows.
  • Maintain an active project pipeline and manage selected distributors for joint campaigns.
  • Promote value-based sales and feed customer insights into New Product Introductions.
  • Drive customer interactions across the organization and handle other duties as assigned.

Description

The Inside Sales Representative for Aurorium is responsible for managing and growing the Inside Sales territory within North America. This role involves managing a specific amount of small to medium sized accounts, generating correspondence and engagement with dormant accounts and coordinating all first-line prospecting across the various Aurorium business units.


Job Details

Role Specific Responsibilities


  • Consistently delivers on monthly and quarterly AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets of volume, revenue, and profitability

  • Manages a territory of Inside Sales accounts, building customer relationships through regular, documented contact

  • On an ongoing basis, coordinates orders, obtain forecasts, optimize pricing (value) and demonstrate customer-centricity through the deft and coordinated handling of any customer concerns: technical, logistics, quality, regulatory

  • Collaborates with Inside Sales colleagues, prospects and qualifies all incoming web inquiries within 24 hours, and coordinates lead generation at all trade shows attended

  • Maintains an active and robust project pipeline

  • Manages selected distributors, engaging them on joint sales campaigns

  • Champions value-based sales and marketing system

  • Performs customer insight activities to gather unmet needs at accounts and potential new growth areas; works with marketing team to feed these needs into the New Product Introduction development process

  • Drives customer interactions across the organization

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Desired Skills

Education and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or relevant experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry preferred


Experience


  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within a sales role or related role at a specialty chemicals company preferred

  • Experience utilizing a CRM to facilitate growth, communication, and customer experience

  • Experience with developing sales plans and executing to achieve overall growth goals

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to flex own style as needed to influence and drive results

  • Strong hunting skills within the sales process

  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
