Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Springfield, OH. You will act as a liaison between outside sales, internal teams, and customers, managing orders and communicating substitutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role includes fielding out-of-stocks, scheduling deliveries, and assessing credits when appropriate, with four days in the office and one day work-from-home after training. Salary and bonuses form part of the pay structure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous sales experience helpful.
• Bilingual reading/writing in languages such as Spanish, Chinese, Asian, or Haitian Creole is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders and communicate with customers about substitutions and out-of-stocks.
• Strengthen customer relationships and utilize e-Commerce tools and CRM.

Inside Sales Representative

Location: Springfield, OH

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll serve as the liaison between outside sales, partners within the organization, and existing customers. You'll be responsible for managing customer orders, communicating with customers regarding out-of-stocks and substitution options, strengthening customer relationships, utilizing e-Commerce technologies, scheduling exception deliveries, determining credits for customers when appropriate, and more! You'll help them to achieve their goals and, in return, yours!

Schedule

Four days in the office, one day - work from home (after training is complete)

Does this look like you?

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous sales experience helpful
• SAP knowledge preferred but not required
• Two years of previous customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Bilingual requirements, reading and writing in specific languages such as but not limited to Spanish, Chinese, Asian, and Haitian Creole.
