Airgas in Ogden, UT is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to partner with Account Managers, resolve customer inquiries, and support the sales team in delivering exceptional service to our professional community.

This role centers on nurturing existing relationships, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating across internal teams to improve the customer journey. A HS Diploma and 2+ years in sales or related environments are expected.

Role Description

The Inside Sales Support Specialist will partner with Account Managers to empower our sales team and ensure alignment for our client base. This role focuses on resolving customer account needs and fostering long‑term satisfaction through dedicated service and coordination. This position is centered on nurturing existing relationships and supporting the Sales Team. Partner with Account Managers to provide seamless service to our professional community. Ensure alignment on customer account needs by resolving inquiries promptly and thoughtfully. Collaborate with internal teams to maintain excellent records and account health. Provide meaningful assistance to ensure clients feel supported and heard. Advance internal processes to improve the overall customer journey. Foster a sense of partnership across departments to resolve complex inquiries efficiently. Maintain a collaborative and team‑oriented approach to daily office operations.

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product, warehouse, or sales environments (we also value an equivalent combination of education and unique life experience).
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.
• Attention to detail in handling transactions.
• Availability for occasional overtime when the team needs extra support.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

• A background in gas, welding, or safety supplies is a wonderful asset.
• Familiarity with SAP, Google, or MS Office Applications.
• A detailed understanding of SAP and PROS functionalities.
• The ability to communicate clearly and warmly with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds.
