Job summary

CSS is hiring a Representative - Inside Sales in Kent, WA. You will interact with existing customers to grow sales of our products and services, process orders, and expand the current book of accounts.

You will work with outside sales to hit goals, use proactive selling techniques, and contribute to improving order accuracy and customer satisfaction. A base salary plus commission awaits the right candidate with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of sales and sales administration experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel 0–25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders via email and phone; verify items and enter orders.
• Suggest related items to increase order value.
• Own, qualify and develop opportunities from marketing/outside sales.
• Identify ways to improve processes.
• Prepare quotations to secure orders.
• Review open orders and manage risk of delays.
• Maintain backorder/backorder/expedite reports and notify customers.
• Report industry trends and customer feedback to management.
