Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is hiring an Inside Sales Rep in Wallingford, CT to act as a key customer consultant. You will quote, sell and fulfill orders for underground trench safety equipment and services based on customer needs, while building strong relationships and ensuring safety compliance.

You’ll support showroom operations, assist with equipment loading/unloading, and coordinate delivery while driving branch growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of trench safety products and applications preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts from walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use and safety.

You will be dedicated to underground trench safety equipment rental and supply needs. It's a great job for an ambitious professional who has an interest in our industry and can build relationships and provide outstanding customer service.
