Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to be the key customer contact at our branch. You will recommend solutions, quote pricing, sell equipment and fulfill orders based on customer needs, while building relationships and delivering outstanding service.

This role involves multitasking, learning on the fly, and driving branch growth. As the world's largest equipment rental provider, United Rentals offers ongoing training, a collaborative culture, and opportunities for career progression

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies in accordance with pricing policies and procedures.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations regarding delivery.
• Generate leads for new business and communicate leads with Outside Sales Representatives.
• Warm call on lost and/or dormant accounts to retain business.
• Maintain a clean and presentable showroom, sufficiently stocked with merchandise.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
