Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous customer service, sales support, administrative, or office experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, construction materials, transportation, or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately using company systems.
• Coordinate truck deliveries with dispatch.
• Manage rail delivery orders and coordinate with loading supervisors and railroad service providers regarding schedules and requirements.
• Generate loading tickets for contract truck drivers and customer pickups.
• Assist phone and walk-in customers with product questions, orders, loading tickets, receipts, and general customer service.
• Verify product inventory and availability.
• Notify customers when orders are ready for pickup or delivery and coordinate delivery logistics.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate sales, shipping, customer, and operational records.
• Communicate professionally with customers, sales representatives, dispatch, transportation providers, and plant personnel.
