Baker Distributing Company LLC in Austin, Texas is seeking an Inside Sales – Food Service Specialist to support and grow our Foodservice business. You will provide sales and technical support, pricing details, and inventory information to help accelerate orders and service our customers.

The role requires strong negotiation, customer service and analytical skills, plus the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2-4 years operational experience within the Foodservice Industry and product lines associated with refrigeration, beverage, and ice production.
• Experience in sales, operations, purchasing and inventory management.
• Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service are absolutely required.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with skills to multi-task on different levels.
• Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn, teach and lead.
• Mechanical or Technical background preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency in Auto Quotes preferred.
• The employee is regularly required to work in a sales center, and a warehouse.
• While performing the duties of this position, employee may travel to Company locations and works in sales centers and other warehouse/storeroom environments.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Sales Centers in the support of House Accounts
• Request quotes from vendors
• Track orders for timely job site delivery
• Create customer quotes and submittals
• Distribute pricing updates and company specials applicable to the area to the appropriate customers on a consistent basis
• Participate in Baker revitalization initiatives and implement associated action items
• Embrace and assist in Baker/Watsco technology initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

Job Summary

The Inside Sales – Food Service Specialist is responsible for assisting Baker Distributing grow the Foodservice line s of business sales by providing sales support, technical support, logistical information, pricing information, product information and inventory management. The ultimate goal of this role is to assist with sales efforts within the assigned territory .

Es sential Duties/Accountabilities

• A ssist Sales Centers in the support of House Accounts
• Request quotes from vendors.
• Track orders for timely job site delivery.
• Create customer quotes and submittals.
• Distribute pricing updates and company specials applicable to the area to the appropriate customers on a consistent basis.
• Participate in Baker revitalization initiatives and implement associated action items.
• Embrace and assist in Baker/Watsco technology initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The employee may use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
