Hammond Lumber Company in Portland, ME is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Associate to assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email. You will process orders and quotes for building materials and help customers select the right products for their projects.

The ideal candidate has customer service or sales experience, some knowledge of building materials, strong phone skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or sales.
• 2 years knowledge of building materials preferred, but not required.
• Excellent telephone skills preferred.
• Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
