Job summary

Central States Bus Sales is seeking a Full-Time Inside Parts Sales Representative at our Lexington, KY location. The role focuses on providing parts support to customers across phone, walk-ins, and internal shop needs.

You will handle parts research, ticketing, invoicing, and ordering from multiple vendors, while maintaining excellent service and pricing. This position supports the Parts Manager and trains new personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle parts and their applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and stay organized.
• Proficient typing and basic computer/office skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Sales experience or familiarity with bus/automotive parts preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with parts orders by phone, walk-ins, or in-shop needs.
• Research parts and create parts tickets and invoices.
• Order parts from multiple vendors and generate purchase orders.
• Process paperwork for part returns to customers and vendors.
• Provide excellent service, pricing, and attitude.
• Represent Central States Bus Sales, Inc. as an industry leader.
• Assist with shipping/receiving as needed.
• Support bi-annual physical inventory.
• Assist Parts Manager with special projects.
• Train new personnel.

Central States Bus Sales is currently seeking a Full-Time Inside Parts Sales Representative for our Lexington, KY location. This position’s primary purpose is to provide all phases of parts support per our customer's needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Helps customers with parts orders/information over the phone, walk-ins, and internal shop needs
• Research parts as needed
• Creates parts tickets and invoices
• Orders parts from multiple vendors and creates purchase orders in the accounting system
• Handles parts and paperwork for part returns from customers and to vendors
• Provides customers with the best possible service, pricing, and attitude
• Represents Central States Bus Sales, Inc. as the leader in our industry
• Helps with shipping and receiving as needed
• Helps with the bi-annual physical inventory
• Supports the Parts Manager with special projects
• Helps train new personnel
