Job summary

PROPULSION CONTROLS ENGINEERING LLC seeks an Inside Machinist Journeyman at Bremerton and Everett, WA. Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and, when needed, assemble gearboxes and pumps under supervision. Maintain compliance with NAVSEA specifications and safety requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in marine/shipyard settings, plus an Associate degree or technical certification. Must be able to obtain base access, pass background checks, and work full-time in a shipyard

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of marine/shipyard experience.
• Associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
• Candidates must be able to obtain base access clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders to produce precision metal parts.
• Assemble mechanical components such as gearboxes and pumps without supervision.
• Maintain safety and shop cleanliness and follow NAVSEA standard items.
