Job summary

South Louisiana Bank is seeking an Insurance Advisor in Thibodaux to support Commercial Property & Casualty clients within the SLFS / Riviere Insurance Division. You will work from the Thibodaux office, handling new business, renewals, and client inquiries with carriers to secure quotes and coverage.

The role requires P&C experience, active Louisiana license, and proficiency in EPIC/AMS360 and MS Office. You will interact with clients and carriers, prepare Acords, and assist with policy

Qualifications

• 3+ years Commercial Property and Casualty insurance experience.
• Current Louisiana Property and Casualty License.
• Proficient with EPIC or AMS360 and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle client inquiries and assist with questions, requests and problems.
• Interact with carriers to obtain quotes and renewals; negotiate renewal decreases.
• Prepare and submit Acord applications to carriers; follow up until processed.
• Submit coverage changes and amendments; document conversations in system.
• Prepare proposals and present to clients; obtain required paperwork from carriers.
• Invoice clients for new policies and renewals; manage filing in system.
• Attend trainings and meetings as requested; back-up other office roles.

Obtain missing information, submit to carrier for processingSubmit coverage change and amendment requests.
