Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Cheyenne, WY. The OT will evaluate patients, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate with families and facilities to improve daily living skills.

Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing; 1 year experience preferred, 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates. Shifts are 9 hours long, 36 hours per week, with travel benefits provided by TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing are required.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs to develop a care plan.
• Create treatment plans with goals and activities for daily living.
• Assist patients with tasks and assess home/work environments for improvements.
• Educate family and employer on patient care and accommodations.
• Document patient progress following guidelines and for reporting.
