BAS Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practitioner / Advance Practice Provider or Physician Assistant to join its inpatientTransplant APP team in Burlington, MA. The role focuses on kidney and liver transplant patients, HPB surgeries, and comprehensive post-operative management.

You will assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans, manage pain and recovery, and educate patients and families about transplant care. Collaboration with surgeons and hepatologists is essential.

Qualifikationen

• APRN or PA license and board certification required.
• 1 year transplant, nephrology, surgery, or related field (3 years preferred).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered approach.
• Experience in inpatient hospital settings and ability to coordinate care across teams.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialized transplant patient care including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Manage postoperative recovery and early identification of complications.
• Prescribe and adjust immunosuppressive medications as part of care.)
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-transplant care and expectations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, hepatologists, nephrologists, and nurses; participate in conferences and quality initiatives.
