Job summary

The Ridge Behavioral Health System in Lexington, KY is seeking an Inpatient Therapist to join our 110-bed hospital, providing psychiatric and substance use disorder services for children, adolescents and adults. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on group and family treatment, treatment planning, and psychosocial assessments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or other mental health field required.
• Certification or licensure in social work or mental health field required (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT).
• One to two years of mental health experience required.
• Inpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic group and family treatment to patients with mental health and substance use diagnoses.
• Coordinate treatment through treatment planning and team processes.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop targeted interventions.
• Summarize clinical information in written records and maintain confidentiality.

Located in Lexington, Kentucky, The Ridge offers a healing environment to reassure patients’ sense of security and confidentiality. Dedicated to excellence, The Ridge is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, as a licensed, 110-bed hospital, providing psychiatric (mental health) and substance use disorder (drug and alcohol rehabilitation) services to children, adolescents and adults. Inpatient care is provided on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week. Outpatient and partial hospitalization services are provided on a five-day per week basis, days and evenings. Care is provided according to an established code of ethical conduct and strict adherence to patient rights.

Job Duties Include

• Provide therapeutic group and family treatment to patients with mental and substance abuse diagnosis.
• Coordinate treatment through treatment planning, the treatment team process, and utilization and review.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments.
• Assess, develop, and implement groups to enhance treatment of patients.

Qualifications

Education
