Job summary

BJC HealthCare seeks an Inpatient Surgical Clinical Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on our surgical units in St. Louis, Missouri.

You’ll provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, pain and wound management, and ongoing monitoring to support safe recovery. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, therapists, and case managers, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and educate patients

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care.
• Perform assessments and administer medications.
• Manage pain and wound healing and monitor patient recovery.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge plans.
