Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State license or provisional license for Clinical Fellows in Rhode Island.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates speech, language, voice, feeding/swallowing, and cognitive impairments.
• Develops and implements plans of care; monitors progress and revises goals.
• Educates patients and families; documents care and discharge needs.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation staff and other health care professionals.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and policy adherence.
