Job summary

Providence Health and Services’ St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognition and swallowing disorders and to support direct patient care.

You will collaborate with physicians, families and the care team in a patient-centered, safety-focused environment. A $5,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible external hires; Alaska license is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Alaska SLP license required at hire.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association at hire.

Job description

DescriptionTo evaluate and treat patients, check their communication, cognition and swallowing disorders. Develops, coordinates and maintains Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family. Assists in direct patient care. Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with standards and guidelines established by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

We are hiring for Speech Language Pathologist positions at St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska! Currently available schedules: Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week. $5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
