Job summary

UHC United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse Level I to provide direct nursing care in an inpatient setting. You will apply independent nursing judgment and the nursing process to achieve quality patient outcomes across adult and diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state license through eNLC.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient needs.
• Uses evidence-based practice to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Provides education based on learning needs and involvement of family.
• Promotes effective communication among interprofessional team members and healthcare consumers.
