Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.

You will develop and coordinate individualized care plans, discharge planning, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team; weekend and holiday shifts are included, with tuition reimbursement and wellness programs

Formación

• Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Ability to perform assessments, coordinate care, and work effectively within a team.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and coordinates individualized care plans, including patient and family education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Evaluates and adjusts nursing interventions based on patient responses.
• Collaborates proactively with physicians and healthcare team members to meet patient needs.
• Ensures proper handling of equipment, troubleshooting issues as necessary.
• Participants in evidence-based practice and unit-based decision-making.
• Contributes to quality and safety initiatives, promoting a safe and compassionate care environment.
