Baystate Health is seeking an inpatient Registered Nurse for the South Wing 6 Adult Surgical Unit at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. The role is part-time with night shift hours (7p-7:30a), every other weekend, and rotating holidays. Requires MA RN license and ADN; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Massachusetts
• 1+ year of RN experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• ADN required; BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the South Wing 6 Adult Surgical Unit for orthopedic, trauma, urology, musculoskeletal spinal surgery, endocrine, bariatric, colorectal and thoracic patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff; monitor vitals, administer meds, document in EMR, and respond to clinical changes.
