Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Heart Failure/LVAD Inpatient team at Ross Heart Hospital. You will manage and provide patient care, guide other team members, and coordinate comprehensive nursing activities in alignment with the unit’s standards.

A nursing degree from an accredited program and an Ohio license or interim permit are required; experience in relevant care settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from CCNE or ACEN accredited program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide direct patient care to patients and families.
• Direct and supervise nursing care provided by the patient care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
• Ensure alignment with professional practice model and patient experience goals.
