Job summary

The Inpatient Staff Registered Nurse (RN) position is available for qualified applicants in a VA hospital setting. The RN will provide evidence-based nursing care to patients, supervise and mentor staff, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the care team, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to education and competency development across units. Requires RN licensure and completion of an approved nursing program.

Qualifications

• English proficiency in written and spoken form is required.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with active US licensure.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing registration in a US state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, evidence-based inpatient nursing care to assigned patients.
• Lead and participate in education, orientation, and competency development.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
