Job summary

The Inpatient Staff Registered Nurse delivers knowledge-based care to assigned clients while developing technical skills. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age-specific components. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines.

This role emphasizes patient education, self-management, and coordinating care across the continuum to ensure high-quality outcomes for Veterans in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required by policy.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved and accredited by ACEN/CCNE. Foreign graduates must have license validation where applicable.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in US state or equivalent (GNT exception may apply in some cases).

Responsibilities
