Job summary

Family Hospital Management Company is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse for night shifts in San Antonio, TX. You will provide bedside care for patients, including those with substance use disorders, and collaborate with physicians to implement treatment plans.

You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor progress, and support discharge planning while offering mental health support and education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN with TX license (BSN/ASN preferred).
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years substance abuse/detox experience in hospital/outpatient settings or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for medical patients including substance abuse and post-surgical cases.
• Assist physicians with treatment plans, conduct assessments, monitor progress, and administer meds and pain management.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to evaluate and adjust care plans.
• Document care accurately and timely in patient records.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and post-treatment care.
