Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. You will assess needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor conditions to support recovery and safe discharge.

You will work with physicians and the broader care team to create thorough plans and ensure compassionate, patient-centered care. ACLS/other certifications may be preferred depending on specialty areas.

Qualifications

• Current WA State RN license.
• One or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients.
• CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
• Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
• ACLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and perform treatments.
• Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for comprehensive care.
• Prepare patients and families for discharge to home or other care settings.
