Job summary

MedStar Health's MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for Inpatient Rehab to join our team. You will provide comprehensive SLT services across evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, reevaluation, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY).
• Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as deemed necessary for location.
• American Speech-Language-Hearing Association CCC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation services including review of history, assessments, and documentation.
• Implements treatment protocols, collaborates with other healthcare professionals, and adjusts care as needed.
• Completes discharge planning and documents patient progress and charges accurately.
• Manages scheduling, productivity, and ensures accessible care with empathy.
• Pursues continuing education and serves as a clinical instructor to students.

Education

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY)

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, DC, and/or Virginia

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
