Job summary

Encompass Health invites qualified Registered Nurses to join our rehabilitation team, bringing compassionate care to patients on the journey to recovery. You will engage in supervising treatments, assessing patients, and tailoring care plans that address individual needs and goals.

Collaborating with diverse departments, you’ll ensure coordinated care, support families, and deliver direct care when needed, celebrating patient milestones along the way.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.

Education

RN licensure (state requirements)

ACLS certification (preferred)

CRRN certification (preferred)

1 year rehab hospital experience preferred
