Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of St. Petersburg is seeking a devoted Registered Nurse to support patient recovery in a dynamic inpatient setting. You’ll provide individualized care, monitor progress, and ensure compassionate treatment that aligns with rehab goals.

You’ll collaborate with therapists and other clinicians, advocate for patients and families, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to returning patients to their highest level of function.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.
