Job summary

Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital in Yorktown, VA is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide nutrition care, counseling, and education to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions.

The role offers a full-time schedule, up to $42 per hour, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and a strong orientation to support your transition into our multidisciplinary care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with major studies in Food and Nutrition related field.
• Current state licensure/certification, if required by state.
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nutrition services including screening, initial assessment, re-assessments, nutrition counseling and education, therapeutic diet calculations, and calorie counts.
• Develops an appropriate nutritional care plan.
• Communicates and implements the nutritional plan of care with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Attends Interdisciplinary Care meetings and participates in rounds as available.
• Develops and implements educational programs for patients and staff.
